Water requirement

Soil 

You have to keep the soil moist for their growth, the soil will let you know if the plant is too wet for long. So, you ought to make a mixture of potting soil that won’t let it do so. 

Sunlight requirement

These succulents need to be planted such as blue succulents in full sun or partial shade. If you won’t let them face the sunburn, keep them away from the sunlight a little bit. 

Fertilizers

Make sure that during springtime, you fertilize the plant with balanced food that will be diluted to at least 1 ⁄ 4 of its strength. 

Pests and various diseases

As the plant is easy to thrive, the pests and diseases can be harmful to them. But need not worry, just stay calm and follow the given tips for taking care of them.

Moonglow succulent forms many offset or smaller rosettes. These can be isolated from the mother plant and grown as individual specimens. This is the fastest way to get a new factory.

Step 1- Remove a leaf from a mature rosette.

Step 2- Let it harden on the cutting end for a few days. 

Step 3- Then, Place this leaf on the prepared juicy mixture and wait.

Step 4- Now, the leaves will develop roots and eventually grow into a new plant.

If you want to let them grow big then ensure that you place the plants in a place that is warm and make them warm with not the sun directly falling on them. Don’t let them be too moist and warm. 

Though it can take as much time as a few months to make it grow big for repotting but within a few weeks that is less than 3 weeks you will see roots and leaves begin to come.  

Propagation:

To complete the propagation process quickly you can do it with leaf and stem cuttings. 

For leaf cuttings, you need to first remove the leaf from the stem. Make sure you remove the leaf carefully so that it removes the entire leaf from the stem and nothing is left behind. Doing this will help in increasing the success of propagation. 

Make sure to remove the leaf and dry it out so that the callus present in the leave gets over. After drying the leaves you need to place them on top of the well-draining soil and keep misting it with the help of water. 

For stem cutting, you need to use a sharp pair of scissors to cut the top of the plant and leave some inches at the base of the stem cutting. After removing the stem make them dry for three to five days and plant them in soil or you can also propagate in water.

You can also propagate the stem cutting in water which is also a good method. Make sure to place the cutting in well-draining soil. After some days you can test the roots of the cutting by gently pulling it out.  

Problems: 

The following are some problems that you can see while growing Moonglow succulents:

• Make sure not to overwater the plant which will kill your succulents faster than underwatering the plants. In the case of overwatering, you will see some symptoms like yellow, mushy leaves that will easily fall. 
• You need to remove succulents from the soil as soon as it is overwater you need to place it in well-draining soil.
• In the case of underwatering the plant fixing it is much easier than overwatering the succulents. To cure it you need to provide good water.
• It can also suffer from etiolation when it doesn’t get enough amount of sunlight then the plant will start stretching out and make it less attractive.

If the water stands in the plant the chances of root rot and fungal diseases will increase. You need to maintain the root rot by consistently maintaining the moisture of the plant which will cause bacterial infections. Make sure to avoid overwatering the plant and use well-draining soil.

You need to check for any rot conditions which you can see from the roots of the plant and then spreading to the stem. In case you find any infected part make sure to remove that so that it does not spread all over the plant. 

Graptoveria Sunburn:

You see brown spots on the leaves of the plant due to sunburn. To cure it you need to move the plant away from direct heat to prevent the leave damage.
